The use of forex software is becoming increasingly popular amongst forex traders, seeking to gain an edge in  the forex market.

Different Types of Forex Software

Forex Software comes in many forms, from software which alerts you as to when to take a trade, to platforms where you can manage multiple forex signal providers, and have your trading account automatically traded for you.

One of the most common forms of forex software is the MetaTrader MT4 trading platform.  This trading platform was developed specifically for forex traders.  It enables traders to programme their own trading systems, known as ‘expert advisers”, or ‘EAs’.

Alternatively, you can go out in the market and purchase a commercially developed forex software programme, which will alert you as to when you should take a trade.  These vary enormously in price, ranging from $50 to thousands of dollars.
